Samantha earned her Bachelor of Science degree (Biology major, Psychology minor) from Mount Allison University in 2010, where she also competed as a varsity basketball student athlete. She completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2017 and has since obtained certification in both introductory and advanced vestibular rehabilitation.

Since graduating, Samantha has worked extensively throughout the public healthcare system in Halifax, developing a strong foundation in neurotherapeutics and complex rehabilitation. Her work in acute neurosurgery and outpatient neurology has provided her with strong clinical skills in treating back pain, hip pain and sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction from both acute and chronic perspectives - conditions which often intersect with both neurology and pelvic health concerns. During her schooling she completed a practicum with the outpatient pediatric neurology team at the IWK in Halifax which sparked her keen interest in furthering her education in pediatric physiotherapy.

After welcoming her daughter, Samantha and her family moved back to her hometown of Fredericton. Her own pregnancy and postpartum experience deepened her appreciation for the overwhelming mental and physical demands of this stage of life and inspired her to transition her practice toward pelvic and perinatal health. She has obtained her training in physiotherapy for pelvic floor conditions and is excited to bring her neuro rehabilitation and orthopedic experience into private practice.

Samantha believes in delivering functional and client-centered treatment programs through exercise and education.

Outside of work, Samantha enjoys hiking with her daughter and husband, running, skiing, and taking on DIY projects at home. Her love of travel and the outdoors has taken her from hiking through the Swiss Alps to spotting wildlife on safari in South Africa. Samantha is happy to be able to provide full services in English and American Sign-Language.
